I had initially planned to draw her as the Baxter family's favorite daughter, Eve from Tim Allen's hit television series Last Man Standing. But I really liked the pose and lighting in this red carpet photo.
Keeping with the style of my previous portrait drawing, I began this piece using Staedtler graphite pencils and General's white charcoal pencil on 8 x 6in Strathmore toned tan paper. Then I finished the portrait with a soft overlay of Faber-Castell pastel pencils and Prismacolor Verithin colored pencils.
